Are these 72 only BB motor mounts?

I've purchased these motor mounts here from a board member many years ago and listed them on FB for sale and I'm getting burned for offering 73+ BB mounts as 72 only. Please help me and if they don't are true 72's I'll contact seller for a refund. Paid $200 shipped for them

I am pretty sure those are 72 and up clamshell style. 67 to 71 are what i have in the garage and they look like the sbc style .

Looks like 72 mounts to me. 72 has a single hump in the middle with a rolled edge at the top. The clamshells should have a number on them also.

Look correct to me as a 1 year only mount.

They look correct to me as well...That price you paid is exactly why I used 71 BB stands with SB mounts, total cost, $80...The 72 BBC stands and mounts are like the tow hooks, WAY over priced and un-necessary!

Yes, they are 72 only mounts. the '73 up have two humps on the frame flange instead of one. (picture of '73 below)

The reason you are getting burned on FB is because a lot of the "experts" on FB don't have a clue what they are talking about.....

Educate the morons on the book of faces with these pics. I put a set of 72 on my 69 b'cuz I wanted some heavy duty interlocking mounts. I also got a set of the urethane inserts and put them inside the shell as well. It's a built 454 with a lot of torque and I tow heavy things. How much are you asking for these, my son-in-law may want them

73 up stuff is so very common. A lot of folks know about 73 and up stuff. 67-72 knowledge is not as well known (unless you are a member here, and can read...)

I have purchased 2 sets of the 72 mounts, here, for same reasoning, for my 67 and 68

Clamshells look correct and are hard to come by, correct 72 clams will be stamped with part number, the last 2 digits are 22 and much larger.

Well, thanks for all the info. Had this for sale here and nobody jumped on them so I let them go for $160 shipped. Had to sell almost all my stuff due to heart surgery coming next month.

Don't beat yourself up over getting 160 bucks. At one time they wouldn't last on the board at 200, now they just sit there. I bet all the late model engine swaps helped kill the "value" on these.

Yes, you’re right. LS swaps are killing these part’s value.

68-71 mount parts are available aftermarket. Check Cooper Restorations
