Pump to carb gas line problem

Want to use the Edelbrock setup, but the filter is right up next to the runner on my old intake. The water hose nipple is in the way too. Suggestion? I think a spacer that would move the banjo fitting out a bit might work, but if I find one (maybe a fat washer?) would it leak? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Sorry about sideways pic. Don't know how to fix that. Thanks.

I would have to suggest going back to a QJet. Those Eddies suck copious amounts of fuel compared to a Q. I went through the comparison myself.

Looks like you don't know how to tune an Edelbrock. I get 13.5 mpg on a 1984 K20,1405 EDL 600 manual choke. Tuning is easy w/an Edelbrock. Q jets are old and have to be rebuilt by a pro and tuned by a pro they work good if you are lucky.This guy has decided to go w/an EDL set up,good choice. Maybe you want to send him the 1000.00 to change back over to a Qjet.

It was a (little bit) to tall).

I went to photos on my computer.(After I copied your picture)

#1: Then clicked on { crop } first.
Then moved the top down a little bit.

#2: Then click { rotate } second .

#3: Then click { save }

Edelbrocks like a fiber spacer between carb and manifold to keep them cool. I have a 1 inch spacer on mine. That looks that would be an easy fix. Nice setup.
