Brought home a 72
Picked up this 72 today. Bought from a guy about an hour from me who I’ve bought several old pickups from. Wasn’t looking for another one after I brought home a 63 big window and parts truck two weekends ago and a 62 last weekend but I did it anyway, part of the addiction I suppose. Luckily all were within an hour from me. This 72 is Not a cherry but a nice straight old pickup, front supports are solid, rears have rust. Once cab corner is solid and other has some small holes. Floor is solid at least and it runs and drives and is all original. Needs a bath and a heater core plus a carb rebuild and it’ll be back out there. I’ll end up flipping it to put some money towards some on going projects but here she is. Anyone know of the best place to get a heater core that fits correctly?

Re: Brought home a 72
National Parts Depot has the Brass Copper Heater Cores. I bought one for my 72 and it has factory A/C.. Here is aline for non A/C core. I'm curious about the RPO Code V01 HD radiator and if that means a 4 core rad.

If you sell it to me you don't have to fix it.

Re: Brought home a 72
I had a couple people stop and tell me that when I brought it home and was working on it at our shop. I’ll sell it to you if interested, have the carb off getting rebuilt and have a heater core, plugs, and rubber hoses ready to go on this week when I get some time
