Fitting a frame mounted brake booster/master with a 4L80
I’m installing a 6.0 LQ4 with a 4L80 into my ‘59 Apache and I’ve also got a frame mounted brake booster. I’d love some pics if someone has done this before. I know I’m gonna have to move some mounts but just not sure how to fit it all in. Thanks!

Re: Fitting a frame mounted brake booster/master with a 4L80
The trans is a big beast, I used to have a turbo 400, no issue but that 4l80 is bigger. I don’t have the engine you have, and engine setback is going to matter. The main connector on the back of the trans hit my master cylinder and power assist canister. I ended up slicing the brake mount and adding a spacer to push it back. That also meant the brake push rod needed to have some added to it. You can see the spacer icon the brake mount.
