F n g
Been checking this site out for a long time. A lot of great people offering up help/advice/opinions on everything C10 related.
I need to get this out there right off the bat....I bought my 69 step side built and ready to go, lot of comments on here about bought vs built. I get it but I'll offer no excuses, raised three boys, worked almost fifty years and now I can afford to buy one. I lucked onto the kind of a deal I have always heard of but never could take advantage of. I found the truck online in Louisiana. It was built by a guy named Ted Wax, Jr, who should do it for a living. Very particular (truck has never seen rain) detail oriented, took his time to do it right. I had a list of things I was looking for (motor, tranny and a/c) and this truck checked them all plus a few more: 383 stroker crate motor. motor was less than two years old, had a year warranty left 700R4 with a 2500 stall convertor 3:73 rear end Vintage Air cold A/C power steering, brakes, windows, power bucket seats (black leather) new carpet kit gas tank relocated to under the bed rear coil over shocks almost new Michelin tires on chrome rally wheels, that look new everything worked My plan is to enjoy the hell out of it, this covid thing got me laid off so now I drive it every day, I drive it like I stole it! I plan on adding a few things here and there, I put new wheels and tires on, new mirrors, upgrade the radio, add some speakers, added a bed cover. |

That's a nice truck. Congrats on that. I'd own it in a minute.

Re: F n g
Wow, nice truck. I am not sure if I could just buy one. I am laid off right now too and I can afford to buy one. I think I suffer from "Sanford" disease. I can't come to purchase a $2.40 seal for my speedo cuz it might be the wrong one... More pics are coming right?
