Fan stat/ Water temp ports

So, i need a port for temp sender and one to operate an elect. Fan, , ill use the intake, for one, Any options other than the head? Its for a dakota sensor and really dont wanna run it that close to a header

It looks like you are using an SBC for an engine. Does your water pump have one of these outlets on top of it, like this one? Can you use it? Or maybe something like this in the link below?

Thanks, im using the heater so the pump wont work, the other is nteresting though

Any port on the water pump is not ideal. They’re intake ports.
They make thermostat housing spacers like this.
Likely better than the hose fitting.

i made mine for the lower radiator hose that has worked fine for the last 36,000 miles
short piece of 2" ss exhaust tube with half a 3/8" couple welded in it

I should have been more specific i guess, lol, i can see what i have available, one on intake, one on each head, and heater hose connections, i guess i was looking for things like dual adaptors, t fittings etc...but im thinking the best and cleanest option is to just use the head port and a heat sleeve. To protect the sensor and wires
