Exhaust Manifold 230 cu.in.
Exhaust Manifold has 2 cracks about 1" long at the junction of the plenum and the runner.
I'm no good at brazing but I was lucky to find an aftermarket new one on Amazon. Whoooda thunkit ??? I'm thinking about eliminating the heat riser baffle and plugging the mounting holes. Any advice on that ??? https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 |

I would recommend that you find a good used manifold instead. I bought that same one you posted to replace mine and the quality is absolutely terrible. The inside of the manifold is incredibly rough due to the poor casting and then face for the ports was actually twisted to where I couldn't even machine it flat and mount it on the engine. I ended up getting a really nice used manifold from Tom at 12Bolt.

Too late. It bolted up fine but certainly would not be satisfactory for a "performance" motor.

Keep heat to the floor of the intake plenum, otherwise fuel will puddle. Proven to be fact for 6 decades now.
Tom at 12 bolt is great. Another option when you're ready to hot rod it some is Langdons Cast Iron split headers. Pricey but a quality part.
