Got it in a pile of parts I bought and no idea what this is or if it is even a Chevy truck part. Figured I better find out what it is before I consider throwing it away!

Your above picture resembles the lower side of block mounted brace for supporting the air cleaner housing on an I-6 truck, here is a picture of one that was removed from a 1972 292 truck. Mel
