Goodmark vs AMD
I am getting close to purchasing a cowl hood for my c10. Good mark is about $150 more than AMD. Thoughts or experience on either. More interested in fitment than cost.

Re: Goodmark vs AMD
This has been debated many times . How many " manufacturers" of 50+ year old Chevy truck parts are there ? A few years back I bought a set of short bedsides from Carid they were delivered in an AMD box and inside that box they were in a Woodall box . Cut out one of the middle men and buy AMD .

Re: Goodmark vs AMD
Fit might be important if these 50+ y/o trucks were built within perfect specs and gaps. Unfortunately, every truck is just a wee bit different so be prepared to massage any body parts you put on it.
FWIW, I put a Goodmark hood on a Chevelle. Not a perfect fit out of the box and onto the hinges. |

Re: Goodmark vs AMD
If you're looking for a slant nose hood I recommend doing a search for problems with them.
The one that came on my Burban was such a mess I traded it for a factory one. Some of the better vendors quit selling them due to quality issues.
