69 -72 blazer doors

anyone know if i can use C10 doors and just cut the window frame out to use on a 72 blazer?

Yes. The Factory Assembly Manual shows how to cut a truck door for Blazer applications. You'll need to find that little trim cap to cover the cut edges, and if you are being picky... You'll want a '72 truck door so that that the window crank / door handle shafts are long enough to fit the 72 door panel. In a perfect world, you'd also steal the reinforcement plates from the striker areas of "real" Blazer doors and spot weld them onto your new truck doors.

Yes, the assembly manual shows how to do it but the blazer doors have an extra reinforcement around the door latch which you can remove if you have some original blazer doors. Don't forget the stainless steel plate on the door also if you have original blazer doors, top inside corner contacts the bronze plate on the body.
