Calipers - What have I got?
The joys of assembling parts many years after purchase....
I have upgraded to disks on good old Woody and last night was assembling the campers and attaching the flex lines. Drivers side, not a problem but the passenger side the thread for the flex line is damaged - it actually looks like a manufacturing fault. Tried running a tap down it but it still is not a good fit. So, want to get a replacement caliper my question is what caliper do I have. Done the usual research - there was a thread on it on this site - but no definitive answer. The casting numbers are K18007153 GM but the various sites I have looked on don't recognise it and want to know what vehicle they are for. I 'think' this is a 79-96 c1500 caliper but, getting stuff shipped over to the UK, I want to make sure as it is an expensive mistake. Does anyone have a definitive? Appreciate the help. P.

Re: Calipers - What have I got?
Thanks Chief!
I would have thought that using the part number would have made this an easy find but, alas, not so. Appreciate the link, will have a look now. There is still a long way to go before I am back on the road but like to completely finish a job, torqued up and split pins etc, before moving into the next thing. Should have an update to my thread in the near future. P.

Re: Calipers - What have I got?
I think D52 Calipers are from 1971 to 1987 all the same. I think...

Re: Calipers - What have I got?
Thanks again Chief - it is the D52 part that has opened Pandoras box and I now have a plethora of options.
Has anybody used the Wilwood D52 dual piston calipers and did they fit with a 15" wheel?? Well, If I have to spend money on getting them shipped over I might as well upgrade. Right.... P.
