1967 two-tone cab roof paint divide
I am trying to figure out where the white paint line breaks on the roof of my 1967 two tone cab. I know the white does not go down the A-pillar like later model trucks. I know the top iw off white and the outside drip rail is body color, but where does the paint line break? I am using the paint divider trim below the window, but I do not know where to end the white at the roof. Thanks, george As always, a photo is really what will answer my question and I have not been able to find exactly what I am looking for.

Re: 1967 two-tone cab roof paint divide
I could still use a photo that is shot directly inot the ran gutter to see what is going on in there. This is a 67 truck. Not the later model 68-72. Thanks

Re: 1967 two-tone cab roof paint divide
This is from my 67. The inside of the rail where the seam sealer sits is ivory white and the face of the rail is body color. It is this way all the way around and ends at the paint divider under the window.

Re: 1967 two-tone cab roof paint divide
This also makes me wonder which color was painted first.

Re: 1967 two-tone cab roof paint divide
It looks like it would be easier to mask the vermillion poly off and spray the white after the way these pictures show. This cab just got stripped so i can't check for pant lines anymore.

But I am still willing to listen to others chime in. I know for a fact that there is more than one way of painting the two-tone on the upper half of the doors. I have seen two original Baltimore built trucks that clearly had the whole top of the door painted white inside and out And plenty fo folks have mentioned variations in the way different factories did things.

Re: 1967 two-tone cab roof paint divide
After much thought I think I will paint the body color first, the roof second.
