Door gap woos

I'm trying to get my door gaps to spec. The manual says .19in top and sides. The bottom is .25in. The .25in is about 3 popsicle sticks and the .19in is two popsicle sticks. I replaced the door pins on the driver side.

- On my drivers side on the rear side the gap is wide. It is like 4-5 popsicle sticks.

- On my passenger side the rear side gap is too tight. It is like like zero popsicle sticks.

At some point it has been hit in both fenders. Maybe my body been tweaked.

Is it odd to be wide in gap on one side and tight on the other side? Was this indicate a tweaked body?

No, not odd at all, Who knows what the last guy did. What I find odd is you're using popsicle sticks ...lol

Use a 3/16 drill bit with some masking tape on it for 0.19" and a 1/4 bit for the 0.25"

There’s just a lot of adjustments that need to be made. I went to change my pins & bushings, but ended up replacing all the hinges. One was bent, and the drivers side, the S spring was upside down. So if I had just done the pins & pushing, I would have still had problems with the drivers door because of that S spring being upside down. And it was the passenger side that was bent.
I also replaced the strikers. It important to have those bushings on the strikers. So that will play a part in getting your doors adjusted. Along with all those new parts, I also replaced the door latches and all the seals. So since the doors were off and all those new parts, I had a lot of time & effort in getting those doors lined up and closing nicely. It’s going to be a combination of adjusting the hinge bolts to the doors, and I also had to do some adjusting of the fender side also. Then adjusting the striker, but I finally got it. I won’t say my gaps are within specs, but they are pretty even around the entire door. I was more focused on getting those doors closing with ease. And that I accomplished! No more slamming the doors 3-4 times. It closes the first time.
