Vacuum fitting on manifold
My manifold is missing the fitting for the brake booster hose shown in photo. Can you buy that fitting? My son has one on a manifold that I was going to try borrow. I tried remove it but it didn't want to come out. It will spin easily and move a little bit, I didn't want to try too hard and break it. Has anyone removed this fitting?

Re: Vacuum fitting on manifold
You can buy those or find one in a junk yard. It is a typical push loc type fitting. To get one out of a manifold you push the red ring and pull on the fitting.

Re: Vacuum fitting on manifold
I am not 100% sure but I believe that is part of the manifold and if it is missing I believe you need a whole manifold? Do you have a picture of your manifold in that location?

Re: Vacuum fitting on manifold
Or, cut off the fitting, Drexel/grind the fitting out of the manifold. Then tap manifold for barbed brass fitting

Re: Vacuum fitting on manifold
You can install a plug or a hose fitting into that hole. Here’s a video.
