Re: Can I cut these off the block?
I would say you can as long as you don't get too carried away. But wonder why you would need to? I have never had an issue with them or even heard of anybody that has had this problem.

Re: Can I cut these off the block?
In my research prior to swap I never seen or heard of this issue either but it is keeping me unable to drop onto the pad on one side when the other side has landed.

Re: Can I cut these off the block?
How close is the rear of the valve covers to the firewall?
It looks like the engine is way too far forward.

Re: Can I cut these off the block?
so are those the v6 mounts too?
if i remember right those mounts either need to be moved to the v8 holes or you need v8 mounts. someone else can chime in to make sure but it was something along the lines of that.

Re: Can I cut these off the block?
I'm thinking that may be the issue, I cut of the nubs but now it looks as if the motor is not going to have room at the firewall. I'm still running the Sm420 and Rockwell transfer case, tomorrow I might try removing the motor mounts and seeing if I can slide it together at a lower pitch.

Re: Can I cut these off the block?
V6?
May need v8 mounts,, the v6 mounts may be what's causing the issue
