A New Breed of Fire Extigusher

So I ordered one of these fire extinguishers for my truck. It's a tiny powerhouse that leaves no residue. It's non-toxic and so small and light, you can keep it in the glovebox. In the video on the site (and others on YouTube), it reminds me of a magic wand that puts out fires.

If the thought of blastng powder from a traditional fire extinguish all over your engine (or even worse, under your dash) gives you the heebie jeebies....check it out.

I have one too. I saw it a couple of years ago on Jay Leno's Garage. I think I paid about $75 for it.

Mine just got here today. Pretty sweet. If I was a real pal, I'd start a fire and try it out to let you guys know how it works, but at 80 bucks...your gonna have to take a rain check on that one.

I have one in each vehicle, and will be getting more for the shop. The plus factors are they are small, light weight, long use time and they don't need a recharge. Only downside I see is once you light one, it's going to keep doing its thing till it's done. No recharge, just throw away what's left and buy another.

Yup, works the same as a fusee. They actually have had something quite similar for chimney fires for a long time, too.
