Painting 72 BLUE Interior

What is the best PRODUCT/BRAND to color match blue Door Panels for a 72 interior ?
USA1 has a '77-78' shade of blue that looks close.
SEM product blue colors all look too dark to me.

Wanting to know what others have used for this application. Thank you

Re: Painting 72 BLUE Interior

I haven't painted mine yet, but I ordered my blue paint from this company, along with some clear coat to go over it. Not much more expensive than SEM.

Thanks for showing me that post. That is the exact info I was looking for.
Prob will go with the Slate Blue from USA1. I used their 73-73 dark saddle for my door panels, good quality products.

P.S. one question, USA1 charges $18 shipping for one can of paint, so total is over $38, is there any way to get this cheaper ?

I've bought touch-up body paint from these folks, very good quality.
Didnt see where they made paint for vinyl interior parts but maybe I missed something. Thanks for your help.

The 72 Blue, the Bright Blue. I know the chart says 70-71, I asked Randy once about the Bright Blue. I believe if you call and ask, they can have it for you. If not, Classic Industries has the Bright Blue.

Re: Painting 72 BLUE Interior

The local parts stores used to keep some of this in stock.

I wonder if they can order it?

Thanks for the info but I've already ordered the Slate Blue. Really just looking for the 'medium blue' interior look, not necessarily 72 blue.

Isn’t that exterior paint? Exterior paint really should not be used for interior pieces, it not the right kind of paint. I can always tell when the wrong kind of paint is used on interior pieces, when I go to clean the old color off.
