C4 Corvette accessories
I'm installing an LT1 with Corvette accessories into a 67 c10 and was hoping someone has experience with this.
I could use advice in how to mount a power steering reservoir for the power steering |

Re: C4 Corvette accessories
Could you use a BB remote reservoir and mount it on the fender like stock?

Re: C4 Corvette accessories
I did a C4 Tuned Port in '72 for a guy and that is what I did.

There are a few different pictures of the big block reservoirs in this thread. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=735249 LockDoc

Re: C4 Corvette accessories
Thanks everyone, that's a big help.
I will be emulating the factory bracket and reservoir, that's the ideal spot but I was hesitant since I never noticed BB trucks had them |

I think I have an extra fender mount setup. If you are interested I will check in the morning and post it on the parts board. LockDoc .

Re: C4 Corvette accessories
Interesting. A TPI Corvette has the reservoir drivers side and high. An LT1 Corvette has it passenger side. I did not realize that. Since you are using the C4 accessories, why not use a C4 reservoir in the stock location? I would not want a 180 in that line as it just invites cavitation so for me it would have to go on the passenger side to keep the suction hose as straight as possible. For that longer lines is more volume and should run cooler. On the one I did, I went to a hydraulic shop and bought a piece of hydraulic suction hose to connect the pump and reservoir.
