2010 Colorado, P0014 code
I have a 2010 colorado with 120K miles that's tripping the P0014 code. I've replaced the cam position sensor and it's still tripping the P0014. Additional info: the engine has a rattle in the front end. The following have been replaced with no change in the noise; belt and tensioner, water pump, timing chain. The engine runs strong and the gas mileage is in the low 20's. Any suggestions on what to look at next will be appreciated.

Check the cam actuator solenoid. Cam actuators and cam phasers are the same thing. The Chevy Cruze is notorious for bad solenoids and bad phaser. The solenoids have a screen that is a filter. Could be clogged or the solenoid itself is bad.

Re: 2010 Colorado, P0014 code
The cam actuator solenoid is actually the part I replaced. Sorry for the misinformation. Possibly the new part was defective. It's an easy part to replace so I might try another one.
