Is this correct for the p/steering frame clamp?
I found this in a bunch of parts I have.
Is this correct bracket for the power steering lines frame clamp? It doesn't seem correct to me as I thought the retaining bolt went in from the top? If it fits I may use it, in this application, even if it's not technically correct. After I wrote this I found it in the manual. Called a clip. Guess it is not correct. Anyone know where I may have come from? Last edited by Accelo; 04-23-2022 at 03:14 AM. |

i will check my truck shortly when i go to the shop but it does look like the clip for the A/C lines under the battery tray.i know the bolt in my power steering lines does go down into a nut under the frame rail flange.i will check.

Re: Is this correct for the p/steering frame clamp?
I tried it on the air battery box and it fit perfectly.
Thanks you guys nailed it. If anyone has the factory correct p/steering clamp I would be interested. Summit sells one that is close. Made by "The right stuff". It is $3.99 I would like to see them both side by side. Is the retaining bolt threaded into the frame or is there a nut on the back side? Last edited by Accelo; 04-23-2022 at 12:44 PM. |

I just worked on mine yesterday. Nut on the bottom/back.
