What's this 72 C20 Super worth?

Full run-down on this 72 Super C20 402/400

The Bad:

The interior door panels are standard original. Once a very nice seat cover is bad. Dash pad is 1/100th what it was.

Tach doesn't work, fuel gauge can be learned, speedo is 7 MPH too short. No lighter. Headlights are dim, window wiper not even quite intermittent. The replacement interior paint job was done poorly, same for the front firewall. Sliding rear glass needs attention. The instrument panel grain is poor.

No heat, primarily because the heater core is bypassed. The duct is there less the S duct. A/C isn't operable, but most of the A/C system remains, I stole the blower tube, a few clips & hardware. The temperature control needs attention.

It loves oil, some of which are leaks. It's been that way since I bought it 5-6 years ago. I've probably driven her 8-10K since. Edelbrock manifold and carb. Replacement radiator & shroud. The battery box leaves much to be desired.

Rust has burned through the body in spot(s) on:
Windshield frame would take some work. The rear frame appears solid.
Doors and fenders, seems to be one spot each
Tailgate is unfit for restoration
Cab's RH rear corner floor pocket
Front of the roof panel, multiple spots.
Small areas on the front head panel.
Spot on the firewall.

Steering wheel saw it's day decades ago. Only thing else I can think of is this has three fuel tanks, but only the cab's tank is being used.

The Good:

Cool headliner, though consistent rust on the chrome. Clean visors, clean rearview mirror (original?), I don't know 72 mirrors. Clean AM radio, works, but signal isn't great, probably the antenna ground or something like, my guess. Nice glove box door grain, seems the ash tray too.

The Edlebrock has maybe 7K on it. Elect. choke. The entire brake system was replaced 7K-ish ago less hardlines. HEI distributor. Signals work, same for the roof lights & cargo light. Dome works, but the door jam switches are intermittent.

I haven't studied the suspension, and can only say I feel no problems, my guess the joints were replaced once. Transmission is smooth, kickdown works. No indications of a problem with the axle, which was serviced with the brakes. Power steering was flushed. I haven't noted any leaks anywhere besides motor oil.

Wheels are super. Western turbines, polished & clear coated. The tires have 5-6K on them.

Nice solid frame. The core support and skirts can use some light attention where they meet, but they're real good parts.

Clean hood. Clean auxiliary battery tray. Sharp windshield molding. Hardware throughout is mostly good. Good bed. Cowl panel is okay.

Clean front bumper and bumper guards. A pair of fog lights mounted on it, they look vintage. Solid rear bumper. Very clean outer grille, and the inner grille is solid. Exhaust sounds great. Steering could be tighter, but drives comfortably. The doors and door windows are fully operational, but the roll ups could use new sweeps.

It's an original 402 Super for sure. Starts every time and a blast to drive.

Start at $7,500 and go from there maybe. Did you get that other one on the road yet?

Thanks guys, that's where I was thinking too. No the other isn't running yet, but it's real close. Other then a few things my end it needs exhaust & glass first.
