popping in header like plugs fouling

i have a 400 small block in my 85 chevy with a edlbrock carb and hei ignition. the problem is, when the secondaries are opened up it starts popping through the left header after 3500 rpm.

how old is the engine? could maybe have a couple bad exhaust valve seats. the fact that its out just one side is weird

the engine is a 72 4 bolt main. not sure on how old the rebuild is.
I thought it might be a cracked valve seat, or a flat lobe on the cam. still guessing?

Might be a weak valve spring too. There's a number of things it could be.
