AVS dual comp wiring kit ?
hey guys. im installing the AVS dual wiring kit and have a question. the kit is already prewired with 2 relays, you just run the wires to where they go. so the yellow wire off the diagram below runs to a supplied wire tap to the fuse panel. well, i made a power distribution block under the dash. in the picture below, the left strip is 12volt keyed, and as you can see, has a relay to help with the power load. right bank is ground. top dual lug in the picture is straight battery power. my question is, instead of running the wire to the fuse panel with a tap (which i kind of dont want to do unless i have to), can i run it to this 12 volt keyed power strip i made? and if so, is it supposed to have an inline fuse holder soldered in before the power strip connection (like the orange wire fuse holder to the right)? thanks in advance!

Re: AVS dual comp wiring kit ?
well if anyone else runs into this, I took the main yellow cable from the relay I'm the picture above and wired it to a 3 prong rocker switch. I ran the 5 amp inline fuse between the rocker switch and the power feed to 12 volt keyed strip. flipped the switch with key on and it works.
