Mirror bolt location

I am trying to mount a standard OEM style mirror on a 64-66 driver side door. At some point, the original holes were filled. I would like to move the mirror slightly and mount a new one but I need to make sure I miss the old hole locations. So, can someone please show me where the original 3 holes were on the door for an OEM door? A picture and some measurements would be appreciated.

In this thread you can see a pic that shows the interior of the door where a backing plate is along with the holes.

Re: Mirror bolt location

Yes, best to locate from inside if there is a backing plate. I heard that not all pass side trucks had this backing plate... I modified a 63 shop sheet based on some measurements from the field, to get one in the ballpark.

another of several threads on the forum: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=501237
