1" & 1 1/4" rotors
Was there anything special that designated which trucks got the 1" & which ones got the 1 1/4" rotors? Or did GM just use them as they pleased?...corn

I don't know the answer to this...but on my 75 C10, I thought it had 1" brake rotors, because nothing denoted it having the 1¼"..but come to find out, it DID have 1¼"! So check before you order anything.

My truck has the "Heavy-Half" or "Camper-Special" package on it although in '84 GM didn't call it those names.
My truck also has the big brakes that were part of those packages. |

I have the heavy duty rear suspension option, but the light duty brakes. It makes no sense...

I have the heavy duty brakes and suspension on mine. That was one of the few options my truck had. It is a factory 454 1/2 ton truck, maybe that triggered the suspension and brakes?

Check the codes in the glovebox. It will tell you if you have HD brakes or not.
