Is this common for the mid shaft to be hitting the crossmember or the bottom of the cab? Can’t get it out and was wondering if anybody had run into this? I guess it’s either the cab mounts have settled or this crossmember has to come out?

Can't quite tell by the picture but the drive shaft or "U" joints should not be hitting anything. Does that bracket that the shaft is sticking out of unbolt? It should and there should be a rubber bushing and bearing in it to keep the shaft centered. Something doesn't look right with that setup....

Should be centered with the dimple in the x-member.

Thanks guys. I probably wasn’t making myself clear but I was trying to pull the front shaft out and it would not come through that opening. I ended up getting it by loosening the back cab bolts and jacking the back of the cab up a little. Thanks again.
