I need yalls opinions....
As much as I like my dumbo Ears on the truck :p I want different side mirrors. I was looking through LMC truck Catalog and Found 2 different types of side mirrors I like. The Small Skinnier Side Mirrors that are square. And the Small round ones that fit on te top of the door hinge. Both are really cheap and I just cant decide on wat to get! I have a few ?'s to ask.
1. How do I go abotu taking my Orginial Side Mirrors off 2. Will I need to re-Paint where the old ones once were, Will it not be all ugly since theres been a cover on it and all? 3. What do yall think would look better? Wont be buying anything for like a week so, not in a rush. Just want some opinions. Thx guys! Tyler

yes, it will look better repainted. you will also have 3 holes to weld up. i like the square ones on the door more. i dont much care for the ones above the window.

To take off the side mirrors, you will need to remove the screw on the bottom of the mirror housing. Once that is off it will then allow you access to the bolts that actually hold the mirror to the door. To get the mirror off, you will need to remove your door panel to gain acess to the nuts that are on the inside of the door (window has to be up). I believe there are three, loosen the nuts and bolts and that is it. Of course, you will now have three holes, which need to be welded shut and the doors will now need to be repainted.
Now that is all off memory, I might be incorrect on the number of bolts, but once you get the cover off you will see how it comes apart. About replacement mirrors, get the small rectangular ones...they look sporty and you can actually use them. I had a "peep" mirror on my truck a while back (upper corner of the door)...looked cool, but is was worthless..couldn't see much.
