Power window motor help?
How do you get the motor out of the door?

if its original it may be riveted in there so youll have to pop the heads off or drill em out ( drilling would be better) otherwise its a 7/16 or 3/8 sized head bolt

It takes a little working with it, but it does come out, pretty easy. Don't listen to anyone who tells you to cut the hole bigger.

I just needed to disconnect some of the door latch linkages and then I was able to finesse the thing out. Just make sure you hold the window up to keep it from sliding down into the door. I also dropped a trouble lamp down inside the door to make things easier to see. Oh - also have some bandages handy. Why?
