Toolbox Assy Restored
No clue what this assembly is worth since it has been completely restored and ready for installation and paint. Includes fiberglass box and all new stainless fasteners. The only thing missing is the lock and key.

Re: Toolbox Assy Restored
I’d say $1500-$2000 to the right buyer.

Re: Toolbox Assy Restored
Thanks...going to the swap meet next weekend so I'll set it up as a display at least.

Re: Toolbox Assy Restored
How many hours do you think you have in it? I'm sure you had to fix the latch pin too since those are never straight and the latch never sets flush and straight like yours does. I might have a lock but I'd have to get a couple of rusty doors to Leon to get him to unlock them and make a key for them.

Re: Toolbox Assy Restored
It has taken me about one year since I started this but no idea of the hours since it was just a parttime project. I had to rebuild everything including all three hinges and patch a crack in the fiberglass box. It was a learning process and I enjoyed it but have two more to restore now. They will go much faster but welding, machining and bodywork skills were all required. I also suggest adding drain holes to the backside of the door below the hinges to drain water that inevitably can get in if you ever take your truck out in the rain or wash it. I'll post more pictures of the process later.
