Is a 3663349 Tow Hook same as 596369 - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

For a 68? They look exactly the same — my sources say the 596369 hook is for the earlier 60 which I assume to mean before 67-68. They have the same curve where the bolts go (mounting) as the 67&68 Not straight or straighter like the 69-72 mounting locations are. Look forward to hearing the response.

Those hooks were used on 60-68 models

I just picked up an NOS set in the box including mounting hardware, etc..
