1960 budget lowering shocks
I picked up some wheels on Offer up for a killer deal the rears are a tight fit but no rubbing.
The front shocks started making a groaning noise so I decided it was time to replace them. They were KYB #KG5452 Not wanting to spend $55.00 each I crossed referenced them and came up with Monroe#32194 ( off of 1989 s10 Blazer) for 20.00 ea. They required some slight mods to fit.

Re: 1960 budget lowering shocks
The Monroe's have a bushing on both ends. The lower one needs to be removed. Simple to do using a puller, 11mm drive , rachet ,and some silicone spray. Drop the 11 mm socket in the eyelet and press out

Re: 1960 budget lowering shocks
The upper bushing needs to be ground down a bit about 1/4" or so
I used my non CAL-OSHA approved angle grinder Nice ride and I saved some cash.
