I have some real nice 400 emblems. They are original. They're in very good condition. The black paint might be a little bit faded. I would put them on my restored truck. I would take $100, shipping included, if that would help you.

Good luck with that. If you ask me it's not realistic, but props if you find them. I have a nice chrome pair with faded paint, but I'm holding onto to those for nostalgia.

I'd like to see a pair repainted well and durable, if that's even possible.

As cosmetics go, my badges and center vent are the only parts that aren't original, simply because there's no such thing as an available mint NOS vent (perhaps, probably) and you'll never find a mint OEM 400 badge(s) with good paint.

There are great replacements for badges, and a center vent for that matter, and some bad ones too.

Fine replacement badges are beautiful and durable. They're just like original, though a pinch thicker. The painted finish is likely better than OEM as well, certainly better than any NOS badge. To my knowledge good replacement badges pass show as a rule as well.

Sir , i agree its difficult to find the nos parts! in fact i call it finding a "needle in the hay stack". but some times the fun is in the hunt! and...... i have found many needles in the hay stack. thx for you opinion. Dave

It seems to have disappeared. It may have gotten used on the frame off I am working on. I have a nice used one and a nice used 396 emblem if you are interested. Sorry
