Are my gauges / wiring correct for my 1977?

I'm trying to get my gauges working on my 1977 K10,and I need help on ordering the right gauge printed circuit. Sometime in it's past, my truck has had a 2wd cab installed, and I'm wondering if my gauges and wiring are the original 1977 ones or maybe 1978 on up. The printed circuit is torn/rough shape, and has #25017325 on it, but that comes back to a1978 truck? My oil pressure gauge is not working, also half the dash lights are out, everything else, except the 4WD indicator light works, the wiring harness is in great condition. My truck has glass fuses, electric oil pressure gauge, 4WD indicator light in the dash and the 1975-77 style wiper motor, everything looks like it's been there since day one. Also, where is the 4wd indicator switch located on a NP205? I'll post a gauge picture tonight. Thanks!

Sounds like you have the 1978 and up gauges so stay with that, good info here although it is for tach gauge cluster but basically the same. Sorry do not know about 4whl drive switch though

Another thing to double check is voltmeter vs amp meter. They are not a simple swap out.

So if I have 1978 up gauges, I'm guessing that the 75-77 wiper motor and 1978 and up, have the same wiring harness, or perhaps the wiper harness can be moved from fuse block to fuse block? The old style wiper motor and glass fuses is throwing me off.

All of the 77's I've seen have a mechanical oil pressure gauge (when equipped w/gauges), glass fuses, and the old style wiper motor. Seems like I remember reading somewhere that the changeover to the electric oil pressure gauge may have happened late in the 77 model year production though. If so, that could possibly account for the configuration you have.

A close examination of the wiring harness would be needed to know for sure. Someone might have re-pinned the cluster plug on a 77 harness to work with a 78 gauge cluster. Or, I think some 78's still used the glass fuses so they might have modified a 78 harness to work with the older style wiper motor.

Here's the gauges I have, also the wiper switch turned out to have the 1978 style mounting. There are 4 idiot lights in the cluster: big BRAKE, FASTEN SEAT BELTS, 4WD LOCK, and another small brake. I'll the wiring tomorrow and see if I can see where it's been replaced or spliced. I'm beginning to think it has it's original gauges and wiring, just has a few 1978 items thrown in, maybe a late 77 build?
