Brake fluid flush
Well, when I was in the process of moving my fuel lines plus the unexpected brake line. The brake fluid drained all out of the front reservoir on the master cylinder. I went to look at it and there was all the nasty looking sediment stuff in the bottom of the reservoir. I wiped it out with a thick clean paper towel and it all came out.
What Im wondering is there any type of chemical I could use to clean the brake lines out with that wouldn't interfere with the brake fluid and rubber seals? I Just want to get the majority of this sediment stuff cleaned out and it was way over do for a complete brake fluid change. I know I cant get a 100% of it but would like to get as much of it as possible. Anyone know what the button on the proportioning valve does? I vaguely remember something about it and it was pretty important. Like you wouldn't be able to fully bleed your brakes if all the fluid was out? Something like that.

i think that buttons there incase you blow a brake line, it will pop up block more fluid from going down the damaged line. That way you dont lose all your fluid as your driving to your shop to fix it. And dosent everyone love fixing a blown brake line?!
