Is this oem side glass

The side windows both have this marking. They are in a 72 GMC. The "soft ray" indicates to me, tinted. Compared to photos of green tinted vent windows I've seen, the tint on these windows seems very light. I need to replace the vent window but don't want to order wrong one.

Re: Is this oem side glass

So if original glass, the vent windows match perfectly and either also original or a perfect match replacement to these side windows. The rubber, felt is missing or very dry and useless. The chrome is pitted. This truck will be a nice driver but nowhere near original resto. Do I....
Trade original glass for new green that appears darker to me. Prefer if it was darker in my S cal environment.
Or
Keep glass and find a good chrome section and rebuild. I don't care if it's original or not.
Cost is more of a driver that originality.

Old Soft Ray" glass isn't dark by today's standards.
Tint all the windows with the tint that matches your preference.

Re: Is this oem side glass

My original vent windows are mint short the rubber, but having someone install new rubber proved a hassle, so I just bought a pair off the parts board from Roger. He does a great job, good parts, and the tints match the roll-up windows even though they came from a different source.

Sure it would be nice to have the original vent glass instead, but odds are great the original roll-up glass are scratched anyway. At least mine was, thanks Charlie........so mint would mean it's no longer a match anyhow.

I wonder if the new tint appears darker because the old tint faded a bit. But this does appear pretty dark. I don't suppose it's the same material as the old stuff.
