Re: Coil rear U-bolts ? 68 c-10
Lowered my truck last year and everyone told me my u bolts would break so bought new ones from either Summit or Rock Auto, cant remember which. Oh yea the old ones came off as they should and installed the new ones anyway.

I think this is the best price I found for Coil Spring rear end to trailing arm u-bolts
https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo...0353&jsn=19564 You could take the spec from them and get some bent up locally. Possibly cheaper. Search google for 'las vegas truck springs'. Most of the spring shops should be able to make them. |

Thanks for the info and link guys. I bought a set from speedway and the thread pitch is off, the nut is larger and the bolts will have to be cut down. I'll just send them back. Should have checked Rockauto first. Thanks!

Re: Coil rear U-bolts ? 68 c-10
When I had to replace the originals on my 63, I ended up going to a local driveshaft shop. They bent up a new set for me with new bolts as well for a reasonable price and matched the length and bend of the originals without having to trim the ends. I had to replace mine as the axle had come loose more than once and thinned out a couple spots on the bolts
