Added full gauges to 79 Chevy truck

Other than changing the instrument cluster, what else needs to be changed on a 79 Chevy truck to go from idiot lights to full instruments? The truck is a 6 cylinder, 3 speed on the column.

Thanks

Doug

Senders, and maybe the wiring harness, not too sure though.

When I changed a van over from lights to gauges, I had to change the senders. The plugs on the harness are the same and will plug up to the light harness. The wiring is the same color, but the wires are in different locations in the plug. What I did was to make sure you get the plug from the donor truck. Then cut your old one off and wire the new one color to color.

Worked for me.
