Will Coil Springs from a V6 C-10 Drop my truck
I am assuming they had different front coil springs for V6 vs. small block V8s vs. big blocks.
If so, how much. I am having trouble finding 1" springs to go with a 2.5" spindle for a 3.5" drop. I am going this route because I want new springs anyway to level out my truck, and 2.5 spindles so that I can run stock 15X8 rallys without any worries of rubbing.

The spring's have different spring rate's for the weight of the V6 & V8 the spring's will physically fit but the truck will probably bottom out when you hit a big hole or dip in the road.
I don't understand why you can't find dropped spring's. There must be at least 6 company's that make a spring to fit your truck. |

I would go with a 1.5" spring. I'm not sure they even make 1" drop springs or not.
Why are you set on 3.5" of drop?

I was wondering about bottoming out. I thought the V6 springs might give me the same look and ride, but cheaper...
Mike, I am not set on 3.5. I just want to be able to still get up my driveway. It does me no good to have a truck with the right stance that can't make it into my garage. I think I will go with the 1.5 springs and 2.5 spindles from Western Chassis with a flip in back... Thanks.

Last time I checked, 1" Bell Tech drop springs were around $109,
