Need some help with the site.
Hey guys. Well I have a few questions reguarding the site. And my truck too. How do I post a picture of my truck in the pics forum and a pic below my name when I write in a thread. Also my truck do any of you that perhaps live in portland or Vancouver know a good place to get some nice mufflers at a decent price. I need two preferable Identical. And what do I do about a catalytic converter on my left side I don't have one do I need to get one to drive it. Legally anyway.
Thanks guys.

To post a pic in your message, simply click on the "browse" button next to the "attach file" line below your reply BEFORE you hit the "reply" button. Then simply browse to the location on your PC where the pic is located. It has to be below a certain size, can't remember what, but if it is too big it will tell you.
To get an avatar (the pic below your name), you have to have 100 post.

Welcome to the Board.........
The pic file size needs to be 102400 bytes to post..... If its too big, when you try to post it will tell you its too big..... When you get 100 posts, the avatar has to be a smaller size.... Where do you live in Washougal......

Do you even have to go through the sniffer tests in washougal? I removed my cat many many moons ago. I get through the sniffer test just fine. For that matter I dont have any emmisions left on my 78 and still make it through a sniffer test.

Well technically I don't even have to go to the sniffer 73 chevy kinda beyond what the current laws want to deal with nowadays. But I know that Cops and po pos will want to pull me over for the noise. This truck is like monster truck loud with only one muffler on the left exhaust pipe the right side has the cat on it. But it's a beast and I love it. so back the the question. Do I need to put mufflers on it at all. And the sniffer test I know I can pass . Well any info would be helpful thanks guys.

While logged in, click the "User CP" button. I assume that stands for Control Panel. Then click "edit options." The avatar section is at the bottom of the page.
You have to supply your own avatar. You can upload it to the board or (I think) use one hosted elsewhere. Slonaker |

Don't forget about the size limits either.

Get Flowmasters or search Jegs.
Jegs has a muffler specifically for our trucks which has a single inlet, dual outlet to work with the stock setup and run "duals." My images are too big. How do you make them smaller than 100 by 100 pixels?

The cat doesnt do anything else other then emmisions. I personally would take it off. Are you sure you even have a cat on a 73?. I would head to baxters auto parts and buy some headers and flowmasters . buy 2 reducers with flanges, gaskets, some pipe a couple of pipe hangers and go to town. I have never got pulled over for excessive noise . I run headers, 50 series flowmasters with 2.5" pipe

Yes I have a cat i'm sure of it and i'm running just header straight back on 2.5 inch pipe one with muffler and the other with a cat on it. That's all right off the engine block to where all that beautiful smelling burnt fuel comes out. So some flowmasters and what else do I need??

Also just found out today and noticed i'm burning flames out of my donut gasket is that bad. I'm guessing I am going to have to replace it being that my exhaust manifold gaskets were totally done for. Thanks for the help guys.
