Selling for a friend. This thing is still strapped to the pallet it came on, never installed, brand new. This is a DEAL!!!
This was going in a 83 Chevy K30, but the project was terminated. Should also fit Blazers, suburbans, etc of same vintage.

Selling my Jet Prepped 4L80E Tranny, its brand new, still on the pallet. I paid $3,600, will sell for $2,500. obo
4L80-E Transmission 4WD
The JET 4L80-E is the ultimate in overdrive transmissions. The 4L80-E has the same strength as a T-400, but also features a 4th gear overdrive and lockup torque converter. Capable of handling up to 700 ft/lbs or torque and 24,000 GVW capacity! Available as a replacement for 91-up GM 2500 and 3500 trucks, or for use in conversions using JET's TransConversion Kit. The 4L80-E is suited for big-block trucks, pro-street machines, motorhomes and extreme towing applications.

No trans controller....JET builds the controller to your exact application, so its better that it doesnt come with it. I doubt you will have the exact specs on your vehicle that he was using on his. But either way, you are still saving over $1000. This thing is brand new, hasnt even been unstrapped from the pallet it came on.

Where are you located 'grape'?

www.phoenixtransmission.com sells the whole package with controller for $2995, i was just checking.

actually the tranny they have that is closest to the one he has is the PT4L80ESS which is $3600 with controller, then you add another $110 for the 4x4 application. Then you have shipping and taxes. Either way you look at it a JET 4x4 4L80E built like this one is a good deal at $2500obo

Just making sure you were looking at the right tranny...you were looking at the lower unit for the price you mentioned.
