Small parts for tilt column - Needed
Need 5 more small parts before I can install my steering wheel.
I'll list in order, starting from the column out > toward the steering wheel. Listed as refered to from the manual. 1) Cancelling cam 2) Lockplate 3) Lockplate retaining ring 4) Cover 5) Shaft nut Basically their the parts I need so the horn will function. Anybody have some? Much appreciated |

What year are you working on?
With a lockplate, it sounds like you have a tilt with the key in the column. JIm |

COLUMN PARTS
It sounds like you are working on a 1973 or newer column because of the lock plate if you are I think I have the parts you are looking for. You might be further ahead checking the junk yards in your area ( any one from 1973 to1988 should work maybe newer yet) just a suggestion! I would be more than happy to look for you oh ya is this tilt thats the only ones I would have. PM me if you want them I'll check what I have.
Thanks EMMETT |

Tilt from a 71
Sorry, my BIG mistake...I was looking in a manual that covers 67 thru 87 and the drawing showed no year designation.
What I have is a 71 factory truck tilt and need the cancellation cam just under the wheel. I have two other colunm's that are not tilt's and they have different cam's. O.K. I found it...this is straight out of the factory assembly manual for a 71 tilt. The parts I need are: 1) Cam - upc 12c 2) spring that goes on cam - upc 12g 3) Eyelet - upc 12g 4) Insulator - upc 12g All the little parts that allow the horn to work, as the wheel turns. Thanks for catching my oversight. |

I can help you with 3, 4 and the screws 5 shipped . you are better of to buy the cam and the spring from a board parts vender . I don't think the spring and nipple for the horn cam come with it so you might ask before you order . You can use the spring and nipple from a non tilt cam .
