RE: Frantz Oil Filters
Since there has been some discussion on the Frantz oil filter in another thread, which is installed on a Blazer that I am considering purchasing, I have included the web site for all to discuss. They are not the original manufactures of the product, they purchased the design. Has anyone heard of these? Do they work?
http://www.wefilterit.com/ The owner of the vehicle says he has had one installed since new and did not need to rebuild the motor until 240K miles. Not sure if that is true but here is some information. Would like to hear of anyones comments. Dragon |

I asked my Dad about these. Apparently, the one in his '48 Caddy is a Frantz. He said that they were very popular when he was in high school but the teachers did not like them because the oil would make channels in them and therefore not get filtered._He has kept it in his caddy for nostalgic reasons and the Caddy didn't have any oil filter originally.
