OT: Emblem removal on '84 C-10

What is the simplest way to get the Silverado emblems off the front fenders without dismantling a whole lot of stuff??? mine is going to the paint shop on Monday and need to get them off. anybody????

I removed all the emblems from my 79,and there was some that were pain,maybe drop the inner fenders?are you sure there not the ones with the glued on backs?that a putty knife will work loose?

emblem removal

a sharp putty knife. there are suds for alignment on the back in certain areas , when you come to them give the knife a good jab and shear the plastic stud off.
