Half cab in SC, Ebay, not mine
Here is the link. Looks like it comes with the bulk head. I wouldn't mind getting it but he says no shipping.

I've been watching that since it was listed also.
Shipping or storing it till it can be shipped is the problem. I got an itchy ebay finger..lol But I'm not bidding...had change of plans.

I was outbid in the end. I am so mad.
If anyone runs across another, I really want one.

I you are going to attempt to buy on e-bay, you need to know how to "SNIPE" as that is how most good deals happen. (:>(

Snipe
I've been buying and selling on e-bay since around 1999. Snipe is software that allows your max bid to only hit in the last few seconds of the auction.
When you normally bid an item early, you send a signal to all those watching. You also tend to feel fat, dumb and happy when you are the high bidder. Then in the last 30 seconds a bid appears that you can't outbid fast enough----THE SNIPE HAS GOT YOU---and you never knew it was coming. E-bay says sniping is not permitted but I suspect that 70% of regular e-bay buyers use it and if you don't, you are at an extreme disadvantage to those who do. Do a search on the net for "auction snipe, snipe auctions, etc." There are several services out there that charge a minimal fee like .25 per snipe. Some offer a few snipe's as a free trial. If that half top was closer, I would have bid (snipe) on it but it's not worth the trip to go get it. I would have stuck it in the barn for safe keeping only to sell it sometime as using it would not be practical for me. I think it's neat--I also think sliding side windows for a single or double wall top is neat--neither is very practical for me but --they are neat! (:>) |
