Oil Leaks All Gone (Almost)!!

Well I broke down this past weekend and replaced the rear main seal, oil pan seal, timing chain cover seals and timing chain on my 72 K5 Blazer. On behalf of all 67-72 Chevy 4x4 truck owners, I would like to b*tch slap the designers of that funky cross-member. Those that have had to drop the oil pan know what I'm talking about! I jacked up the motor as high as I could get it before my headers hit the firewall. I was able to get 2x4's under the engine mounts (like the assembly manual says), and the pan still hit the cross-member and the flex plate! Ended up semi-prying the pan out past the flex plate. I reworked the pan a bit with a ball peen hammer so it slid back in. What a PITA!

Now my only leak is out of the little speedo gear box thats located between the t-case and the speedo cable, right on the t-case. How do you get that sucker to stop leaking? I've installed all new gaskets in it that came with the t-case gasket kit (paper o-rings), but the end that connects to the tranfer case seems loose. I tighten the fitting down, but the gear box is still loose like a press fit has worn out or something. What to do? Can I replace this piece?

I've got to do that in my 70 as oil gushes out of the rear main seal - was hoping to hear it wasn't too bad of a job. Darn!
