there's a guy in Ill with a K20 for sale that's listed on CK5. he's talking like $250-350, the truck actually belongs to a buddy of his, and he's planning on taking it the the crusher, because he's too lazy to fix it. it has a broken brake line.

It depends on your setup somewhat but my father in law has an 87 4wd and he gets the same mileage as my 79 2wd. About 8-9 miserable mpg.

i got pics last night, and a buddy of mine called on the truck as he is looking for a trail rig, and that would be a decent start. the guy said no go, not for sale.

Hmm I must have done something right with my old 74 C 20. It gets 18 to 20 during summer months and around 16 in the winter, I really enjoy driving it. And since I know you all will be curious about the power train, here it is. it's just a 350 bored.060, flatop pistons, not really sure of the cam specs without looking back, but it's definitely not stock. edelbrock torker 2 intake, q jet carb and that's about it for the engine. Trans is 700R4 coupled to 4.10 gears. It is one sweet running combination.
