366 chevy motor wanted!!

I hope this is the correct place to put this!! I need a good or rebuildable 366 motor for a 82 chevy dump truck!! Would consider a 427 as well!! PM me if you have one!! Thanks!!!!!!!!!

were you from.Im from ohio by cincinati.Iused to work at corkys truck and equipment. we had tons of them.As for parts interchange the tall deck 366,427,non shortdeck396,427, all had the same cranks aand they are foged iron not cast as some of the other big blocks if i remember right.the 454and 427 had the same bore the 366,427tall deck and the 396,427 stock deck had the same stroke.Corkys number is..937-364-2459. If you call aask for TIM DOLPH thats corkys son.Corky can be grumpy some times cause hes retiredand doing this for fun i guess but i hopethis helps

Hey thanks 71'tahoe!! I live in Ks but will look into it!! I bought this dump truck last night and it was supposed to be a great truck!! By the time i got home with it the motor was knocking lightly!! Just my luck!!!

What is the low down on the motor that you have blink32?? PM me and let me know the specifics, mileage year etc. and price!!!!

Its in an 82 GMC 6000 series panel truck. Got that 366 Big Block in it. Mileage, I will have to confirm that later as its on my inlaws farm bout 30 minutes away. I can check most likely this weekend. Some pictures of the engine and what all just before the snow can be found here:
