Weekend Progress!!!!!!
Got some stuff started yesterday, maybe next weekend I'll get some of it done. Turns out my cousin is friends with the owner of the local junk yard. Freebies!!!!! Instead of making the pieces of floor that I needed we cut them out of a truck. Chris found some damage to the drivers door jam of the bed. It was bent back about a quarter to a half inch. I drilled out all the spot welds and beat it back with block and sledge. Its perfect! Man I can't wait to drive this thing.

Looks like a real good start. Just think, when you get that side done you have the other to look forward to! Great job giving your baby another lease on life.
By the way... I think the quote next to your avitar is great. That's what everyone kept telling me when I went to such great pains patching up my bed, floor and rocker boxes... "Why are you going to all that trouble, nobody's going to see it anyway..."!! |

A clean shop makes it easier to get around and find tools, haha. Hangin' the stuff on the walls helps too. It looks like I'm going to have to buy some more sheet metal. Nobody will see it but the front and rear bottom of the door frame look kinda bad. If I don't take care of it right I know it'll bug me.
