? about swapping GM style mirrors for sport mirrors

Want to put the small sport mirrors on my truck and get rid of the GM style. My question is....will holes have to be drilled in order to mount them or do they mount in the same holes as these....

Are you talking about the small square factory mirrors? If so then you will have to drill holes. You will also need to weld up some holes too because those mirrors have a mounting hole down low....

you would still have holes when you take off the old ones.
