Underdash A/C - Heater vent hose question

Does anyone know the size (length & diameter) of this piece? (It is a length of "hose" that directs the flow of the heater-A/C in a truck w/ A/C, that connects under the dash.)

My truck is missing this piece, so I've never seen one, but I'm assuming it is similar to the type of hose used for dryer vents in a house.

Is this part readily available at the local parts store? If not, is there a suitable replacement that I could find at Lowe's or Home Depot?

Are you talking about the hose behind/above the glovebox?? If so the hose is 12 inches long fully stretched and 3 1/4 in diameter. At least that's what it is in my truck. I know LMC sells this hose but you'd pay an arm and a leg for shipping. As for the dryer vent hose idea; I think that'll work if you can find the right diameter. I hope this helps!!
